My name is Evy and I am a Yoga teacher, based in Barnet.
I teach people who are beginners to Yoga & how to continue to practise yoga for you.
About Me
I am a fully qualified yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. I teach yoga in a small group setting at a beautiful studio in New Barnet. I believe Yoga keeps you in good health and prepares you for the aging process. My journey practicing yoga has supported me over the last 25 years, starting in gyms then through pregnancy and more recently during the menopause. My aim is to share my knowledge and experience of yoga and it's philosophy as yoga can enrich as well as simplify life.
Teaching Yoga
I teach various principles of yoga, some of which are to move your body slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on breath awareness. I encourage you to find meaning in your practice. To:
- feel lighter
- loosen your body
- have less aches and pains
- focus on relieving tension
- finding a clearer & calmer mind
This is what a yoga journey is. You are always learning because your body and your mind never stay in the same place .

Weekly Classes
After the beginners programme, I encourage you to attend a weekly class. The classes are:
- fun
- sensitive to all abilities
- at your own pace
- small group setting (max 6 mat spaces)
Each time you approach the mat you arrive with a different energy & mindset and with this in mind every class is unique.
Yoga Workshops
I offer tailored workshops throughout the year. The workshops are a way to include discussion and theory in addition to physical practice. They are speciality classes with a set learning objective.
Yoga Retreats
A retreat is the best of both worlds, it's uplifting, a joining with other like minded yogis for what could be a few hours to a full day. I run four seasonal retreats a year each with their own theme & energy.
